  You know, here’s a woman who has an opportunity to put together an informative and entertaining show and it’s obvious her staff can’t get it done. And having done things like this, one thing after another can really bring out the worst in someone. LI’s rage was totally justifiable…The tape was spiteful and unfair!

  What temper? She seems to be working with a crew of rookies.
  She has every right to bitch when “the” is spelled wrong on the prompter, or when she doesn’t even have an article to back up the segment she is about to do. I actually thought she handled herself with dignity given the circumstances.
  She has every right to tell her producer to not talk in her ear for a long time…I mean, she is talking on camera and the producer needs to be in and out with whatever comment is to be made, not some long drawn out explanation, and, as Laura mentioned, had she had an element sheet that wouldn’t have had to have happened…

  I just watched Laura’s outtakes. This is what happens when a competent host, who has a complete grasp of the issues, deals with kids on the FOX production team who don’t. Laura should make even MORE demands so that the program and it’s content are smart and accurate. I’m surprised she didn’t pull an O’Reilly and really blow her top! Those kids should be fired. The errors Laura highlights are unforgivable for the production of a live news/issues show!!

  It’s funny how Harry Shearer thinks he “got her”! He also tags her with the “conservative talk host” moniker like it’s a bad thing. I’m with Laura all the way on this one!

  I only watched the first half of the tape, but she seems fairly reasonable. She is complaining about the staff not supplying her with the prep she needs, errors on the teleprompter, people opening and closing doors while she is on the air and the staff not telling her how long until she is on the air.

  I expected to see screaming on the video as evidence of her bad temper. Instead, I thought her complaints were reasonable and justified. Those producers seem really incompetent. Maybe they just didn’t like her and the screwups were deliberate. I didn’t see any bad temper; just someone really exasperated.

  That clip was much more entertaining than her dry as toast radio show.

  Though no Laura fan (she is too butch for my taste), I agree with her on this one.

  Who leaked the tape out of Fox, anyway? One of those dumb kids she was justifiably chastising?

  I have yet to listen to the 9 minute tape (will do so soon) BUT lemme just say that I watched a few of the first shows and was thunderstruck how amateur it seemed and I was like “Wow, Laura must melt-down after the taping” as silly mistakes were made on the air. If so, I believe she had the right. Made Fox look stupid.

  PLUS she is VERY acerbic…always has been and you can hear it in her voice…back before 9/11 she was even more acerbic…either that of I could have been a little more liberal back then but Laura’s temperment is readily known by her listeners.

  Laura Ingraham is a very intelligent woman who has her proverbial “shit” together.

  The art school dumb-asses that make up her production crew are use to dealing with talking heads that can only read what’s on the teleprompter. I’m sure Laura is up and at the news hours before these kids stumble in from the local pub.

  They’re not prepared and she’s justifiably pissed.

  I don’t like Laura but that tape was much ado about nothing. She never raised her voice and to my eyes seemed entirely justified.
