More Sore Winners

Unhinged Obama cultists still unable to find a reason to be happy are still lashing out against those who dare to challenge or question their Dear Leader.
From today’s Herald, here are two fresh examples:
Carr a spoilsport
By Babs Beaulieu
Friday, November 7, 2008It’s a shame that Howie Carr had to write such a negative column after such an historic day (“It’s a moonbat nation - but I’m no citizen,” Nov. 5). It is not just “moonbats” who voted for Barack Obama - it was 52 percent of the population, which includes all genders, races, economic status, education levels and political affiliations. Obama will be everyone’s president including yours, Howie.
Even Elizabeth Hasselbeck had to admit she will support Obama because America has spoken.
Babs Beaulieu, Lynnfield
If only this were true, Babs: Obama’s made it clear his administration will be about serving his thug friends from Chicago, with Raum Emmanuel overseeing this process. You were tricked.
Here’s the other guy, he’s using WTKK to call for censorship of talk radio:
What a turnoff
By Alan Vervaeke
Friday, November 7, 2008 -Is the radio as a medium no longer fit for the listening of children to political commentary (Nov. 6)? My daughters are far better off listening to Don Imus than to either Michael Graham or Jay Severin.
Maybe the very reason that some in Congress speak of curtailing talk radio has to do with the venomous rants of others like these two and the clear and present harm they continue to inflict on America as an institution. Normally I would lash out at anyone who expressed an interest in limiting public discourse, but in the case of these two “gentlemen” I might just make an exception.
Alan Vervaeke, Fitchburg
This is more than just being unhappy about the election, these people are pushing to crush dissenting voices before they have a chance to effectively cast doubt upon Obama’s thugocracy.

From an anonymous poster:
Well the Messiah is telling everyone up front that its his way or the highway. Get ready America, you just elected someone who will model himself after Chavez - meaning national “security” force to bully those who disagree with him, nationalization of major industries, replacement of the military high command with Omaba lackies, total abandonment of Israel and on and on. Oh, and major benefits to illegal aliens, including citizenship, say good bye to talk radio and suppression of those who disagree with the Messiah. Well, Hitler was elected too - and if you think that’s overblown, start looking at the facts behind this guy, not the nonsense and pablum the media’s been feeding you. As for what do do - learn Spanish, stockpile food, buy gold and hope for the best.

Bob, how can you be soooo negative, why, the messiah is the second coming, we won’t have to pay our mortgages or pay for gas anymore, his civilian security force will make sure we are all in line, the black panthers will rise again, sharia law is just around the corner, the terrorists are dancing in the streets at the prospect of hitting the US again, the american sheeple are ripe for the picking, yep, change is a comin’, just around the corner. Hope is lost………

I find it hilarious that Liberals in Washington want to reimpose the Fairness Doctrine because, somehow, their cause has been negatively impacted by conservative talk radio.
I’m sorry, but didn’t America just elect the most liberal President in history? And, if memory serves me correctly, wasn’t the most conservative President of modern times, Ronald Reagan, elected in 1980 when the Fairness Doctrine was still in effect? (The Fairness Doctrine remained in effect until 1987)
This idea of reinstituting the Fairness Doctrine is pointless. John McCain, a lukewarm conservative in the best of times, won the Republican nomination and Barack Obama has won election while talk radio is at it’s zenith. Someone tell me who exactly has been hurt by conservative talk radio? If anyone should be complaining about talk radio’s influence, it surely can’t be the newly crowned liberal government.
Maybe the return of the Fairness Doctrine would give rise to a new Reagan. If so, Bring It On!

Why are “progressives” so afraid of dissenting opinions? Think they’re sufficiently honest to admit when they veer into fascist tactics?

I worked at ATEX during the 1980’s. One of our customers was La Prensa in Nicuagua. Ortega’s wife was on the E-Board. When the Sandanistas took over, she told the others that the paper would be closing. When they asked who would speak in opposition to the government, she told them that; “now that the right people are in charge, there won’t be any.”

Wow. How funny is it that a completely edited letter to the editor of the Herald ended up generating so much negativity. If the Boston Herald had the BALLS to publish my letter in full, you’d have seen that it had nothing to do with censorship of the radio, and was more of a rant on the kind and content of language being used in political discourse on the air such that it became no longer viable to allow my children to listen to it.
