It’s Getting Creepy Out There II: The Alarming Sequel
by Brian Maloney, November 10th, 2008 at 12:42am
The creepy Obama cult’s followers continue to push forward with a weird, but so far successful push to have the Dear Leader dominate every aspect of our lives.
Even visiting a local mall yesterday, it was impossible to escape Obama overkill. At the entrance to Newbury Comics, there was a lifesize image of the Messiah, apparently to let us all know they have been fully indoctrinated and expect us to follow suit.

And just try to find a newspaper without the Chosen One’s photo on the cover and glowing coverage inside, it’s nearly impossible. Turn on the local news and the anchors lead off with partisan propaganda about how Obama is going to save the world.
For its part, talk radio is gearing up to fight him for as long as possible and ready to beat back their attempts to wipe out the medium.
Sunday, I was interviewed for a live Monday morning drive time talk program in Canberra, Australia. The host seemed alarmed by what was going on here and told me that any successful move to shut down opposition voices in America would quickly be emulated by his own government as well.
I tried to reassure his listeners that 58 million Americans who didn’t join the cult are ready to fight for this country, especially to protect freedom of expression. There are a lot of spooked people over there right now, however. They wonder what the hell is going on here.
I wish I had a better answer, as McCain’s crappy campaign explains only part of the problem.
But the hands-down creepiest development on the Obama front is news that a movement is underway to create a national holiday to honor the Dear Leader himself. No, that’s NOT a joke, I wish it were.
Obama’s support base has now moved so far into cult territory that there’s really no distinction between his followers and those who followed Jim Jones to Guyana, other than in terms of size and scope.
As Americans, we’ve long viewed ourselves as above the sort of extreme movements that have brought (often initally democratically-elected) dictators to power elsewhere. Obama is quickly becoming our Chavez, Castro or Ahmadinejad.
Will his supporters wake up before it is too late? I doubt it, the brainwashing is now complete.

I could use a holiday FROM Barack HUSSEIN Obama and the cult I was surrounded by as I waited in line to vote for the (yes, crappy) candidate who we know was eligible to be president.
Barack’s cult is made up of people who have multiple piercings, 90 minute online “relationships,” college students who were most interested in voting yes on question 2, the non-working class, people who think Katie Couric is a journalist, 9/11 was a conspiracy hatched by George W. Bush, people who voted no on question 1, and yes on 3.
Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s America: always medicated.

Read the comments at the bottom of the story. Even the local think that this is nuts.

That won’t even slow Obama’s nutty cultists down, Scott.
They’ll just call the naysayers “racist” and push forward with their plans.

The happy reality is that His ‘followers’ will have a miserable life with the Chosen One in office. The reality that He is NOT simply ‘going after the uber-rich’ will settle into their brains soon enough. What the Magic One wants to do cannot be done solely on the backs of the uber-rich making $250k. The downtrodden who voted for The Magic One will STILL be downtrodden throughout his administration. He won’t make their lot in life one bit better, because a Liberal government DEPENDS on downtrodden people…and lots of them. It will be a joy watching them realize this.

http://www.hotair.com has a video showing a guy being arrested for wearing a McCain T-shirt in the presence of an Obama Kool-Aid public gathering.

You have to excuse the right for not completely adjusting to our president actually showing his face. After 8 years of Bush literally hiding under his desk, it must come as a complete culture shock that #1. A soon to be serving President would actually show his face in public. #2. The majority of the country(world ) is anxiously looking forward to seeing what Obama attempts out of the box

There are some interesting similarities between the mindlessness of modern American liberals & those who have enabled the rise of dictators elsewhere. BO won’t be able to dictate but he offers the promise of leadership that thinks for us all and takes care of us all so we don’t have to be responsible for ourselves. Once the adolescent lefties realize they are getting no closer to utopia, that BO won’t be able to come through with enough of the fantasies, he will begin to lose face with them. He’s a smooth, pretty faced stuffed shirt and little more. The higher they rise the farther they have to fall and Obama will fall. Give it time. And the irrelevant elephant (GOP) had better be ready to take advantage by appealing to voters with common sense. That will be BO’s weakness soon enough.

It struck me yesterday: a clueless Golden Child, plucked out of obscurity to be venerated for no particular reason; we just elected the reincarnated Dalai Lama president!

Barack Obama is simply Deval Patrick writ large.
