Foreign Leaders No Match For Arrogant Boston Liberals

World leaders, you have met your match: the sheer arrogance brought upon by single-party rule in New England.
What else explains the disgusting sense of entitlement that exists within the Bay State’s corrupt politics-media ruling class?
With today’s revelations that WTKK’s Jim Braude tried to interfere with Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s motorcade, the libtalker has revealed just how overconfident Boston’s politically-connected hacks have become.
From the Boston Herald:
State police Sgt. Steven Godfrey said he was at his post for two minutes when his lieutenant radioed that the escort was leaving the library. It was then that Godfrey heard a “car horn blaring” and saw a black SUV “traveling northbound in the southbound lane” on Morrissey Boulevard.
Godfrey then saw the SUV making an illegal U-turn.
“I don’t know whether this is a terrorist or an aggravated driver,” Godfrey recalled yesterday. “Had they continued to go all the way around the U-turn . . . they would have been heading in the direction that the escort was coming.”
Godfrey said he ran into the roadway, arms flailing and yelling, to get the driver’s attention.
“This was a potential life-and-death situation for this person and/or one of us,” Godfrey said. “Had he continued to drive in toward the escort, he could have put his life in peril. He could have been shot. The Secret Service doesn’t take this stuff lightly.”
The driver, who turned out to be Braude, pulled over and began yelling at Godfrey out the window, according to the sergeant.
“You people don’t know what you’re doing,” Braude said, according to Godfrey. “You people are screwing up traffic. There’s people that need to get places. I demand to know what’s going on.”
(Braude said he never demanded anything.)
Godfrey told him the “only demand that would be met” was his demand for Braude’s license and registration. Godfrey mailed Braude a citation for wrongway operation and illegal U-turn.
“This was a situation that could have become an international incident,” said Godfrey, a 20-year veteran of the force who didn’t know the media personality. “This guy just had that demeanor of entitlement.”
Especially troubling is not just the fact that Braude feels justified in fighting his citation, but that there are 100 other local hacks who would have behaved the same way in those circumstances.
And why didn’t we find out about this until now? The incident occurred in April, when the PM was here to suck up to the Kennedy family.
Did The Globies cover this story at all, or are they protecting a local establishment figure, as they usually do?
This astounding level of self-importance is what happens when checks and balances are removed from the political process. Because Massachusetts is ruled by Braude’s friends, laws don’t apply to him, they’re for serfs.
As I mentioned earlier this week, Eagan and Braude’s ratings have been sliding like crazy recently, with the most recent figures showing Rush Limbaugh now beating them.
And with stupid “topics” such as bickering over sandwiches and burritos in the studio, why would anyone be surprised?

While you’re contemplating whether you’ll have a job and home to live in, hurry over to the Drudge Report web site for a glorious picture of Nancy Pelosi grinning from ear to ear. In fact, she’s been seen in pictures grinning ear-to-ear on Drudge lately. I know she wants a welfare society, but does she need to SMILE so brazenly when it appears we’re heading right to her Nirvana? Someone find a speeding bus to head her way, please.

Eagan and Braude discussed the incident the day after it happened. Eagan was behind him in her car and saw the whole thing.

Need I even point this out? But I will anyhow:
if my man Reese Hopkins had done what Braude did, he would have gotten the full-on Dee Brown treatment.
Kiddies, ask your parents to explain what the “Dee Brown Incident” means (or the curious reader can google Dee Brown Wellesley Celtics guns drawn bank).
As for Braude, he is better than the rest of the hoi polloi. He deserves preferential treatment. Natch.

I finally turned off Jim & Margery about a month ago. Their self important attitudes just got to be too much. I don’t think I ever heard a more condescending person than Jim, and Margery is well past her prime on a number of levels.

Jim and Margery spent most of today talking about it. The worst radio I’ve heard in a long time. I think Margery is a bit worried about her job security. I’ve heard some things.

Braude and Eagan are awful. Grace Blazer, the PD, inherited that show. I think E & B are still there because it’s either a contractual situation or a political crony deal, but I don’t think Blazer would otherwise keep that goo on the air. They both weaken the entire WTKK presentation.
In a perfect radio world, they would go away. Severin would move to their timeslot, and Howie Carr would be doing afternoon drive. What a wonderful world that would be!
Hey!…Braude and Eagan would be PERFECT on WRKO!! They could even invite Celtic Frost as guest host. Ego, insanity, narcissism, liberalism, and stupid topics. Wow! (I’ll bet Braude has a photo of himself in his wallet.)

I once read a book with a title to the effect of “How to Get Out of a Parking Ticket”, written by an ex-cop. One of the main points he stressed was: even if you’re angry, don’t say “See you in court!!!”
A cop that may or may not have shown up for the appeal will DEFINITELY show up once he hears that. So the moonbat not only talks about his case on the radio, he borderline RIDICULES the sgt. trooper in question.
Brilliant move, you wingnut.

anyone whose top-line accomplishment on their resume reads ‘NECN’ deserves all the ridicule in the world. These comments about Braude here and in the Herald were just totally spot-on. And praise to the Heavens if ‘Maggie’ Eagan is worried about her job security. If there’s one thing I want for Christmas, it’s to know she’s been dumped.

“Maggie” is a bundle of nerves over her the status of her WTKK gig. I think the management will have to work with her on being likable again. She once was fairly likable albiet annoying. Now she is neither.

She is not dumb. She went to Stanford and graduated from Smith. That said, she is a terrible writer. What I can’t stasnd about their dreadful show is that he says idiotic things and all she does is giggle like a high school girl looking to get boned.

“She (Margery Eagan) is not dumb.She went to Stanford and graduateds from Smith.” HHHHOOOOOEEEEEEEY. Eagan is as thick as a post. G W Bush is a YALE grad, and he is NOT running off to any MENSA meetings soon. Eagan’s speech impediment does NOT cause her to pronounce “etc.” as “EXSetra.” NO writer would ever do that. No writer would ever screw up her noun/pronoun agreement as often as she does. No talk show host would ever repeat her co-host’s name incessantly for an entire program: “jim.” “Jim.”"Jim.” And she does try to hint that she is hip and that she’s been there and done that. Right. Someone mentioned that she sounds like a high school geek aching to get boned. BINGO.

Please, God, let them dump Margery Eagan. Believe it or not, I can tolerate Braude. I don’t always agree with him, but he’s better off without the geek Mommie from Brookline.
