I think Garofalo AND Olberman have both jumped the shark. Does anyone even watch him anymore?

“It’s about hating a black man in the White House,” she said on MSNBC’s “The Countdown” with Keith Olbermann Thursday evening. “This is racism straight up and is nothing but a bunch of teabagging rednecks. There is no way around that.”

Olbermann did not once try to challenge her on those assertions”

the above statement REALLY pissed me off.

We can only hope that the writers have Jack put Ms. Garofalo out of her misery sometime during the last installment of “24″. Now that will be must see tv.

Brian, this thread should have gone under your
“More Nonsense” heading. She is such a dis-
grace in beliefs and presentation. I think Keith
was silent and not challenging because he saw
a shark in the water. What Producer let her on
the air? I am wondering if in her infinite wisdom
and knowledge she is aware that shampoo has
been invented!! This appearance on MSNBC
should be the yard stick for never again on any
    station.

“I think Keith was silent and not challenging because he saw a shark in the water.”

Keith is hardly afraid of sharks…so why do you think he is afraid of this one? If it were a right winger he would have gone for the throat.

This shark had a name tag of “nut job”. Even
with an opposite party guest one would cal-
culate the mind set and judge how you will
conduct the interview. In this case he just
let her rip and yes, it is open for critique.

This unattractive broad definitely doesn’t bathe on a regular basis.

Brian Kilmeade put her in her place a few years ago on “Fox & Friends.”

Have to agree w/slingblade. This thread s/be under “More Nonsense”

Sorry, Brian, but does anyone even GAF if Garafolo fabricated a story about have a picture taken w/Limbo? Except, ironically, Limbo himself?

I was a fan of Garafolo on Gary Shandling’s show, and the short-lived Ben Stiller show. As far as her politics, and her persona/appearance, she never jumped the shark -she has always been on the lunatic fringe. Oberman, like most, recognized that fact and let her rant and rave.

Why, pray tell, would Rush care enough to comment on something so silly?

It’s altogether appropriate for Garofalo to play a character whose only real function is to stay in a protective cocoon and whine about what other people are doing. File under, ‘Type Casting.’

Keith was thinking that he never ran into anyone as stupid when he interviewed athletes in the locker room when Keith was a jock sniffer at ESPN… It is good that this outrageous rant by this homely-has-been is getting wide play. I heard Sam Donaldson on Snuffluffagus’ show yesterday say the same thing as Jiraffalow in a more polite manner. That is what most libs think.

It’s more than that; her character helped interfere with the people who were actively fighting against the terrorists. Sound familiar?
