EQ: The Stop Snitchin’ View On Gates’ Neighbor EQ: Coverage Of 911 Tapes Frustrates Sharpton

Not Over Yet

by Brian Maloney, July 27th, 2009 at 10:25am

Just when it
appeared the Gates story was ready to disappear from the news cycle, a new development has created fresh headlines. When phoning the police, Lucia Whalen is adamant that race was never a factor, to the point where it was never even mentioned.

Whalen’s safety is still of concern, as there are certainly a few nutcases out there suggesting “repercussions” for her brazen act of snitchin’.

As for talk hosts who
are suggesting the Gates flap has been used as a distraction from other issues such as Obamacare, Sotomayor and huge tax increases taking effect next week in Massachusetts, this week will provide the true test.

At a nearby packy, there are signs on every aisle comparing today’s prices with the post-August 1 rates, which will be 6.25% higher. I fully expect the shelves to be stripped bare by Friday evening.

Between television, radio and newspaper ads, plus signs inside stores, don’t believe for a moment the public isn’t concerned about these price increases.

    Yawn.

Bri, can’t you post some Jimmy Severino III rumor claptrap?

According to its own (mistaken) web site, right-wing-talk outlet WNSH-AM 1570 in Beverly is giving up the ghost and simulcasting Spanish-language WESX-AM 1230. The annoucement on wnsh.com gives the date of the switch as Tuesday, July 21st; the owner probably meant Tuesday, July 28th. Next to go: perhaps WPKZ-AM 1280 in Fitchburg, MA, which also flipped to an all-D-list righty talk format a few months ago.

I thought for a moment that Obama called up his pal Gates, whining, “I’m sinkin here yo. My whole reason for being is collapsing in front of me. My lies about health care aren’t working!! Do something! Create a diversion for me!!!”

Chris, do you have to type in ebonics like that (”I’m sinkin here yo”)? Do the 5 black families that live in NH talk like that? Wow.

The Gates story is on the wane with Howie at least. Yesterday on his first day back he found time to work in Max Robbins in his Red Sox shortened show. Howie announced that the earliest he could do the Death Pool was Wednesday and that the veterinarian will be back on Thursday… It’s business as usual with Howie. Some of the best talk in recent years has happened as a result of this Gates incident. This story seems to be a natural for Howie and his listeners, but it was probably better to have Avi Nelson handle the discussion than Howie which says something about his lazy approach to his show and his columns…Everyday he acts more like the “Gimme Girls” on welfare he has villified for decades.

Circlet Soft, why do you have to try to twist the issue of President ZerØ’s incompetence into a race thing? Is it because he’s a black man in America?

You know things are bad when people here are pining for Avi Nelson to return to the dial.

Chris, good one. Thanks for making me laugh this morning.

Brian, thanks for reminding me about the price increase on alcohol. I was going to buy hubby a couple of nice bottles of wine for his birthday.

Instead, I think I’ll wait for next week - and buy them when we are visiting friends in NH.

Screw Mass., because the state is screwing us. I feel badly for the merchants, but I refuse to pay that tax.

    A. Gates
    B. Obama
    C. Cicero

Lucia Whalen has a lawyer. I wonder how much it has cost her to be a good Samaritan.

Oh, and Gates shouldn’t have been arrested, he should be fired for turning everything into race. Is he paying below market rent on “his” multi-million house? If so, the difference is a taxable benefit. Is Harvard paying property tax on 17 Ware St? They should; It is the law that tax has to be paid for housing for “officers” of the non-profit if the property is non-contiguous with the headquarters.

What is the most dangerous beer in the land.?

One that is used by elitists in order to wash away their doo doo.

Poor Crowley, going to be sacrificial slaughter to save face for the Ruling class. How sadistic. Offering him a beer just before they take out the shohet’s blade ie the term racist.

He will tumble out of the procedure unable to function as fully human anymore. Degraded to the appropriated image desired by the power drunk elitists (obamagates) in order to fully wash away the doo doo of being a raging tyrant with freinds in high places.

Ask yourself, have you seen more shuffling around by fat cats in your life?

Our David, stomped on by Goliath, just to bury his doo doo. Could be any one of us working stiffs. Any one of us. Stick together folks.
It’s the haves vs the have nots.
The rulers vs the ruled over
Academic snobs vs. the working stiffs
    THAT IS THE NEW “COLOR”!!!!!

They don’t care if you can feed your family or not. They care only about their egos and nonsense meant to protect ther status power and greed.

Now they say let him drink beer!!!

    I feel nauseous.
