Cape Cod Times For Brown?
by Brian Maloney, January 16th, 2010 at 10:20am
— Here’s a surprise: the Cape Cod Times has endorsed Scott Brown. Coming from a fairly hard core lefty newsroom, that was not expected. But Cape Wind may have been the deciding factor: Brown is opposed, Coakley supports.
The Times has adamantly opposed Cape Wind for years.
— SEIU up to their usual no good, see it here
— The Sun-Chronicle in Attleboro: have the stars lined up for Brown?
— Watch for: can we have our state back please? I realize the Senate race has national implications, but it feels like we’ve been hijacked by outside interests who’ve poured in at the last minute. I’ll have more to say about this soon.

Hmm. Interesting. Brown met with the CC Times board earlier this week. Their endorsement won’t have a huge effect here, since Brown already owns the Cape. But it could depress what few Coakley voters there are in the area and keep them away from the polls.
One can only hope.

I have to laugh. Coakley sounds like a female Joe Biden.

I recommend we all click on the SEIU link and enter the following:
Website: http://www.brownforussenate.com/
First name: Scott
Last name: Brown
Zip Code: your own zip code
Let’s show them how far spread support for Brown is.

I was skiing today in Great Barrington. Talking to a teacher from Westboro and all the teachers at his school are voting for Scott. Cops for Scott, teachers for Scott, I think Massachusetts is for Scott. Can’t wait until Tuesday.

I just sent an email to SEIU! This election almost makes me wish I still lived in Mass- not quite, but almost. I hope Hiding in Westfield is correct. It would be amazing to see more unions go for Brown.

ladyjane: and what was your reason for contacting the SEUI? Because they endorsed a candidate for an election in a state where you don’t live or vote?
Furthermore, your last sentence makes no sense. Let me see if I understand this: you and your ilk have historically been anti-union, but it would be amazing for them to support Brown?
So, you’re pro- union if they support your candidate (even though neither candidate is yours because you don’t live and vote in MA) but they’re no good if they endorse “your ” opposition?
And, since you have no vote here in MA, why should your opinion to SEIU, or here on this blog even matter? Is the political climate in your own state so uneventful that you’re forced to post here on a radio blog?

Hiding: You do know the American Federation of Teachers and the Massachusetts Teachers’ Union both endorsed Coakley, yes?

Hi Pirateboy! Long time no see. I always love to read how respectfully you respond to my posts. Feel free to ignore anything I write. I’ve been ignoring yours for months.

God, you make it just soooooo easy for me, I almost feel bad……..well, almost.
You do know the definition of “ignore”, right? Cuz your last post is an indication you might not quite have a grasp on the concept.
I, on the other hand, am quite clear of the definition of “ignore” and regardless of your invitation to me to feel free to ignore your posts, thanks all the same, but I’m not confortable with your invitation. I will continue to confront you.
Sorry, it’s just in my nature. I have an extremely low tolerance and zero respect for your BS here.
