Unentertaining Severino Screws Up Again

Once again, Jimmy Severino is providing easy fodder for local critics, one of which has accused him of peddling "false propaganda":

Here's the kind of false propaganda Jay Severin pumps into the heads of his listeners, whom he likes to call "the best and the brightest." Within the past 15 minutes, he went into a riff about how the mainstream media, out of "professional courtesy," would not cover the fact that CNN had allowed Democratic ringers to take part in the YouTube debate. He specifically mentioned the New York Times as refusing to cover the story.

In fact, both the New York Times and the Washington Post ran prominent stories today, both of which were featured on Jim Romenesko's heavily trafficked media-news site, along with Media Nation.

His detractors give him too much credit: Severino isn't capable of generating "propaganda", as he isn't bright enough to grasp the concept. It's just Vay Cay's typical sloppiness.

If not for his high- paying gig in Boston, Jay would be lucky to have a weekend slot in Bakersfield. We've already seen the rock-bottom results of attempts to sell him to a national audience.

So Jay made a mistake. Hasn't every other host?

When Rush Limbaugh recently made a mistake on a global warming issue, he issued a retraction and apology. Jay's attitude makes it difficult to want to cut him any slack.

JazzOrganist: There's a difference between making a mistake and making it up. Thanks for the link, Brian.

You all know me, Jimmy Severino II.

I am too good, too smart, and have too perfect diction (albeit forced) to ever, ever be wrong about anything.

In fact, I am like Fonzie in that I cannot even say wr, wro, wron, well, you know what I mean.

So it is a good thing that I married eff u money and can say it all to you bloodthirsty shutins.

I'm hearing you on Severin.
Never go back to entercom though.

If severin is a fake. That is really nauseating.

Tactical maybe! Hopes to actually take Romney down? Throwing himself on an inevitable sword? for who?

Naaaa. That would require brilliance selfleesness and balls!

Not hearing them. No clanging. Nothing......

joy, are you schtooping more than one local radio personality? Or is it still just the one?

Radio groupies like you used to be a dime a dozen in the pre-HIV days. Now, however, you are worth your weight in gold for the "comfort" you provide these radio warriors.

You should pen a tell-all book re: your talk-master sexual exploits?
