Brian, it seems like you're angry that Howie is trying like hell to stay out of Massachusetts (a la Mitt Romney). . .
I personally hope Howie finds his path elsewhere, Massachusetts isn't a place for a conservative person, hell, it's not a place for any person that cares about their money and civil rights. If you're about small government. . .get a gun, and get to NH. If not NH. . . get out any way you can.
Uhh, Howie's firmly planted himself in Palm Beach, not Naples. He's just west of the Breakers Golf Course.
This girl is familiar. Bottle blonde. Lithe. Spike heels. Bossy. Strident. Hmmm... where have I seen her like before?
Randi got a real bad ice cube. She is cooked, this story about being groped, she needed help leaving the airplane, hitting the cops. She was in a blackout, presription meds, booze, threatening to have peoples jobs? Will Sunbeam re-assign her to a 3rd rate market? She has lost all respect in Boston, she will be locked out of her office as of today. I heard she showed up at work on Tuesday to show everyone she is ok, she should have been in a detox unit.
My mistake, I think. Know he had the condo there but thought he'd been spending time in Naples.
I always wondered what Stifler's Mom did for a living. Now I know.
Can Howie do his show from Florida, using the old Gary Lapierre trick from his days at WBZ ("It's a mighty chilly one here in Boston this morning, folks..." he'd say from Florida). Hopefully there are some tax benefits for Howie while being in 'another state.'
Tony and any others thinking of relocating to NH from Mass, please for the love of Pete, DON'T!! You people think you're conservative and then move up here and screw up our local governments the same way you screw up your own. Move to RI instead.
Ditto Joe, well said.
That's one tax I'd vote for in NH. A Mass transplant penalty tax (paid directly to the NH public school). Also forbids you vote in local elections for 20 years.
Mass! sit! stay! you pooped on your own rug now live there. (But still vacation here)
Oh yea, and pass Jessica's law you fools.
Braude, Joe. . . I've lived in Massachusetts my whole life, and have never voted for a democrat ever. For stating that you would want a tax you've already shown yourself to be more liberal than I am. I don't want trash pickup, I don't want gun control.
I don't vote unless it's to lower taxes or remove government.
I get a kick out these New Hampshire residents
who think there doing so well in the New Hampster
and dump on Massachusetts. What would your economy
and unemployment rate be like if you were located next to the Bay State?
I had a friend who used ride the bus into Boston with former NH Gov. Merrill. Here is the former popular and well connected politician/attorney traveling and an hour and half on a bus because he couldn't get a well paying job in your one horse state.
Howie could easily do his show from PB ( I have never heard talk about a place in Naples) and the climate would be much better for his health problems, but his younger wife and 3 school aged children may not be ready for Florida retirement living.
Goldklank eh! the name just begs to be made fun of.
i'll think of something friday when i get "goldklanked" after work.
Remember Patches Kennedy, who claimed he went "sleep-driving" on Ambien and was in no way responsible for DUI? Maybe Miss Randi will claim her medication caused "sleep-drinking" and "sleep-assaulting a statie". Are you listening, defense counsel?
and unemployment rate be like if you were located next to the Bay State? -Staffer
we are next to the bay state moron. Thankfully you work for a radio station, because your writing wouldn't make my local NH paper.
as for NH, it's doing quite fine with hardworking residents. How's the economy in Mass lately. That's what I thought.
Oh yea, New Hampshire ( the Mississippi of New England) is doing just fine. How do you like those affordable property tax rates and having to pay high tution to send your kids to to the public school's kindergarden. I hear your medical care is top notch. God forbid you need basic social services. This is a state where employeers aren't required to provide employees with a meal break unless they work over 8 hours.
New Hampshire would be even more of a one horse state if it wasn't located next to Massachusetts. I avoid the state at all costs and I wouldn't live there if you gave me a free house.
