As the trading day continued, Entercom's sharp sell-off only became more pronounced, with ETM shares finishing at a new all-time low of $8.48, down 65 cents. That's a one-day loss of over 7%, on heavier-than-average volume.

Investors have now lost 82.5% of their investment over five years and the firm's market cap has shrunk to a mere $267m.
