This is hilarious- hundreds of morons who have probably never picked up the Herald (or any other newspaper, for that matter) are attacking the publication's Spygate apology in the item's comments section.
At this point, I think the paper should close the thread and even remove some of the comments.
Worst case of canned comments I've seen break out in a long while.

Me and all my neo-con buddies would not wipe our arses or wrap fish with the Boston Globe, let alone read it. It's the Herald (and the Wash. Times and natch the WSJ) all the way. That, along with FoxNews and a smattering of Drudge and National Review, is all any forward-thinking, Patriotic Amerikkkan needs.
You should know that when issuing an apology to the Patriots and their fans that it is very poor taste to attack those who have been offended. Please, the viciousness uttered by Callahan on radio and Maz in print and now you is insulting. If the Herald and its defenders want to save the opposition voice in this town (and God knows I want it saved) then start by issuing another apology to the fans who have been called dim bulbs, lunatics, living in their basements and more. You are your own worst enemy. Wow.
Listening to WEEI, I have no problem believing that the comments are real. While I made my feelings about the Herald known on the other thread, I give them props here for taking their medicine and publishing the comments.
