No mention of coffee-making skills, is there?

Actually, hiring the average listener to WRKO would be a better idea. You don't need "major market experience" to know that the Felon needs to be sent packing back to the mean streets of Mattapan.

I'd rather listen to Paul from Chelsea, the frequent caller who sounds like Elmer Fudd and is a total moonbat from Hell than the Felon (admittedly not much talent required to replace Finneran).

No mention of boot-licking skills, either. Nor cat-o-nine tails affinity. Otherwise I would apply myself!!!

Who left RKO? Is this a new spot being created so that RKO will change direction? If it's a new spot, just how much input will the new hire have hiring and scheduling?

I don't see how creating this spot improves RKO UNLESS the new hire can change on air staff.

Suggestion to RKO management: LISTEN to RKO. If you LISTENED to RKO you should be able figure out what's wrong with it.

"ability to deal with big time talent" not really required since no one at either station fits that description.

"Actually, hiring the average listener to WRKO would be a better idea."
-This would be funny if he wasn't serious.

"I'd rather listen to Paul from Chelsea, the frequent caller who sounds like Elmer Fudd and is a total moonbat from Hell than the Felon"
-This sounds like a regular listener to me.

Truthfully, this is a step in the right direction if they hire someone who has ability and some passion for talk radio, right? Brian, maybe you should polish up that resume! Wouldn't you enjoy learning at the heel of Jason Wolfe?

I'll take it if WRKO is interested in becoming talk radio and I have hire and fire authority.

Big time talent? Rush is remote and Howie is a cupcake. Unless your talking about criminal and hip hop skills...Yeah I CAN'T deal with that might be why I DON"T LISTEN.

Most asked question in interview, "If I take the job will I have to listen to WRKO before noon?" 2nd most can "I tune into TKK when we play sports?" 3rd "Do I have to take stock options?"

Maybe, you should apply Brian under an assumed name. Since not many people in the profession have ever heard of you you could pull it off and quit being a bloogger and fulfill your lifetime dream of actually having a full time radio job.
